I would like to anounce the all new Kfuzradio!! where it's all about less drama, more fun!!
Yes folks, a new name, new website, new servers, new everything.
We were hoping to launch sooner but some technical difficulties got in the way of that.
You can find out more by visiting our site.
We are still doing some construction so not all links are working depending on when you visit us.
We've got something for everyone and though we do want new Talent, you can see by our schedule that spots are vary limited.
We will also be doing auditions as well.
We still offer services such as VT and the toll free number. and we've added some things such as a better web site design, servrers that do not go offline when nobody is on the air, and much much more!!

remember folks this is the old hot 979

Post 6 by Toonhead71 (move over school!) on Monday, 17-Mar-2008 15:20:48

In a sense, he's right. All the people from Hot 979 are there, but these are new servers, a new website, and better sound. It's kind of cool to start something new and be part of that from the ground up. and unlike other stations, there's always going to be something on. Only time there may be an outage is if the server itself actually crashes, which hasn't happened yet. So you are almost guaranteed to have something entertaining to listen to, even in automation!

We are not the only station that has gone through a name chage recently though our's might have been thought of earlier.
But yes folks, we were hot979radio but this station is a lot different.
Different jingles, different internal and external set up, way different site design, different management style, and different policies on adding new people, quite different.
And yes, most of our DJ's did cross over and most show's have been averaging some pretty good listener counts.
I encourage you to take a look at the kfuzradio website and decide for yourselves.
If you wish to apply that is fine though we are vary limited on space and so it will not be easy to get in.
We are also working one some different requirements so keep up to date with the site.
Thank you.

when I tuned into and talked to others, they see no difference, same station, different name....same bullshit

Post 9 by FlyingPhoenix (move over school!) on Tuesday, 18-Mar-2008 5:42:11

not trying to be rude, just what I was told

Post 10 by Toonhead71 (move over school!) on Wednesday, 19-Mar-2008 17:29:58

Well, listen for yourself and, oh, I don't know, maybe form your own opinion about it instead of just going on what others say? having original thoughts, occasionally, is a good thing for your brain. This station is just getting started, and there is more on the way. Bullshit? Well, that's for the individual to judge on their own.

I like what I've heard so far. Haven't listened much though, but I'm sure I will in the future. and just because I'm curious, what was everyone griping about Hot979?

Post 13 by FlyingPhoenix (move over school!) on Friday, 21-Mar-2008 13:55:46

drama and bullshit is what it was and still is about

Post 14 by fuzzy101 (The master of fuzz!!) on Friday, 21-Mar-2008 15:40:26

Like other stations we've had our share of internal drama.
However you'll find in any small comunity whether it be online or in person there is bound to be some drama.
i'm glad you're liking how we're sounding.

KFuz Rocks. So what if it sounds like the old hot979? They know how to run a radio station, and the DJ's rock! Keep up the good work Kfuz!

I am glad to see that a few posting are keeping an open mind. Yep, I admit openly that it sounds very much likethat of Hot 979, but let's be honest people, a lot of the djs from that station are on this one, so naturally it's going to sound that way. It's all about the presentation, if you keep listening, you are going to hear things you can't hear on any other internet station, and they're things you really want to hear, not just the same stuff shuffled around and presented in a different way.
